COPPA Direct Notice to Parents

COPPA requires that we give parents “direct notice” before collecting information from your kids.  In addition, if we make a material change to the practices you previously agreed to, we have to send an updated direct notice.

This notice is to let you know:

  • that we collect your online contact information for the purpose of getting your consent;
  • that we want to collect personal information from your child for the purpose of identifying them as the creator of the product being sold only.
  • that your consent is required for the collection, use, and disclosure of the information;
  • the specific personal information we want to collect and how it might be disclosed to others can be found in the folowing; Privacy Policy COPPA Privacy Policy
  • how you can give your consent; and
  • that if you do not consent within a reasonable time, we will delete your online contact information from our records.

Before collecting, using or disclosing personal information from a child, we must get your verifiable consent.  How do we get that?  COPPA leaves it up to us, but it’s important we choose a method reasonably designed in light of available technology to ensure that the person giving the consent is the child’s parent.  If we have actual knowledge that we are collecting personal information on our site, we must get consent directly or through the site.

One of the requirements for having a seller account on is having a Paypal account. Through the process of acquiring a Paypal account we are confident that the registering owner of a seller account on this site is an adult.

By registering for a Seller account on you are confirming that you are over the age of 13, and by listing a childs creation, craft art or any product belonging to your child with the intent to advertise it as your childs product for sale, you are confirming and acknowledging that you are the parent or guardian of that child and you are giving consent for us to collect and have in our system the information you provide.

WE DO NOT require or ask for ANY childs personal identifying information anywhere on

Any personal identifying information of your child, on, will be information directly provided by you or individuals you authorize to have access to your seller account for the purpose of posting information on your behalf.

You may revoke your consent by simply removing your childs identifying information ie: Name, or any other information You provide, from your product listing or account at anytime.

We must give you the option of allowing the collection and use of your child’s personal information without agreeing to disclosing that information to third parties.  If we make changes to the collection, use, or disclosure practices you already agreed to, we must send you a new notice and get your consent on the changes.

Even if You have agreed that We may collect information from your kids, you have ongoing rights — and we have continuing obligations.

If you ask, we must:

  • give you a way to review the personal information collected from their child; Which you can do by viewing your product listing or personal account.
  • give you a way to revoke your consent and refuse the further use or collection of personal information from your child; which you can do by simply removing the information from your account. And
  • delete your child’s personal information.

Any time we are communicating with you about personal information already collected from your child, we take reasonable steps to ensure we are dealing with the child’s parent. At the same time, we make sure the method we use to give you access to information collected from your kids isn’t unduly burdensome on you. Under COPPA, it may be okay to terminate a service to a child if the parent revokes consent, but only if the information at issue is reasonably necessary for the child’s participation in that activity.

COPPA requires us to establish and maintain reasonable procedures to protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of personal information collected from children. So we Minimize what we collect in the first place. We ask that you limit your identifying information of your Child to their First Name, and Age. Any other information is solely at your discretion. We take reasonable steps to release personal information only to service providers and third parties capable of maintaining its confidentiality, security, and integrity. And we get assurances they’ll live up to those responsibilities. We hold on to personal information only as long as is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. We securely dispose of it once there is no longer  a legitimate reason for retaining it. From time to time we promote your products through social media and other platforms and your product ad wil be open to public view. We ask that you PLEASE help us to protect your child also, by not revealing any information you feel could cause any harm to your child through the use of that information.
